Heeelllooo New Semester !

Hey peeps. I suppose it has been awhile hasn't it? My college life has begun once again, say buhbye to first semester break and aloha to second semester. Though technically it has only been the third day since it began so can't say I've been that busy really. That was just me and my plain excuse as a procrastinator ;)

The first day was surprising normal. All of us were just being ourselves -- socially awkward regardless of sex. Our lecturer for the first class, which was Programming by the way, was late so all of us just stood outside the lab and awkwardly interacting with another while some congratulated me for my last semester exam's result. Thank you guys :)

Couldn't have done it without those awesome people on my side! Going party together, study together in the library and even skype call to study hahaha Never felt like I really belong somewhere before. I guess that's one of the good things of having small people in a course.

Then we met some new students in our course, though we couldn't talk much with them since we had only one or two classes with them but I don't mind, I'm completely content with the people from my batch. First day was over and the second day we had to meet up with our mentors so we all 'camped' up at the office waiting oh-so-coolly for the mentor while eating a lot of chocolates that my friend brought along and just talk, talk and play around. During break I also met up with Nicholas after sooo long. Well, not that long. We sorta bumped into each other on the first day and had a brief conversation but I missed the long conversation we used to have before.

He called for me in the cafeteria but I had some tasks to attend to so I gave him the hand as if saying 'Five minutes, five minutes.' But then as I was walking down the stairs, heading to the cafeteria again, I bumped into Nicholas and he told me he had a class so I was like 'ohokay.' I went to the girls who were waiting in the cafeteria and we talked over lunch. Then after an hour while I was reading my book, my friends were like 'Hey, it's Nick!' I turned to look and he was exchanging handshakes with his male buddies so I just turned to the book again when he suddenly took a seat near me. The girls and I had some sort of debate with him about this person we know, let's just say the girls and I have some issues with this person and he was there trying to clarify things. He was tsk-ing at us girls, completely defeated by our endless excuse to defend ourselves. 'Well, we're girls.' I asserted when Nick looked completely baffled by our remarks.

'Right, girls are complex creatures!' Nick added.

Then the two of us just talked about things while the girls are talking among themselves. Well, I guess we're pretty close since we've known each other from the first day and he sat in front of me during orientation and was in the same group for the whole week during the intensive preparation week. He's like the guy best friend I never had before but wanted one so badly. I often asked him things in a male's perspective, which was helpful sometimes.

That concluded my college life so far. Hopefully I'll be blogging about my college life more frequently in the future.
