Ze New Year
The January fifth, twenty-thirteen. Two.Thousand.Thirteen---
2013.
So yes, this is my first post ever to welcome another year. And I know this is a bit late but it's better than never right? Happy New Year everyone. So far the year has been treating me fairly-- ups and downs equally speaking.
Now that I think about it, so many things had happened in the previous year -- 2012. Not even the fanciest words possible could really do the things that happened to me any justice. New experiences, new friends and most of all, the new me-- in a good way. I had never felt such joy before in my entire human life, to be a part of something and not being feared of whether or not college people would accept me for who I am because there are more just like me out there. So there I (and you) have it, I'm no weirdo.
For 2013, I wish for the same things. Become a better person, courageously take every chances I have and make my parents proud. Of course, I have more things in mind but to list it all... I'm afraid not all have the time for that now do we? Haha.
To share some of my good 2013 moments so far. Some friends and I went to a Chinese-Muslim restaurant totally unplanned when at first we wanted to have our brunches over at Tesco. It wasn't the place that I counted it as one of the good moments but the conversations and jokes we had made me claimed so. Then we have the yesterday, January 4th 2013, Azierra and Jelly's birthday. As always, I had a surprise planned out for them.
Since Mugen and I don't drive. Hence, no transportation whatsoever, we asked for our college mate, Dan, to help. Being the nice guy he was, a yes was to be expected. I planned that Dan, Mugen and the rest of the boys could go first to KFC right after class while I distracted the birthday princesses and came up with some brilliant excuse to have Azierra drive me there.
Me: Eh, Azierra... uh, do you mind if you could drive me to a bank? There this urgent issue I need to attend to--- eh, Jelly, you didn't get the call?
Jelly: What call?
Me: About our sponsorship. They said we have to go to the bank since we got some problems-- cash issues probably.
Jelly: Whaaaaaa, no. I didn't get any call at all. Why were you the only one?!
Me: Oh man, I dunno. I think you should come with us then.
Azierra; Yeah, yeah. Let's go.
The bait had been set. So my sorta acting ability does come in handy sometimes ahaha. Gotta thank some of the acting I did in high school then.
Off we went to this 'bank' which I said to those two, 'I forgot the name of the bank but I do know the way.'
Suddenly, I got a phone call... from Mugen. And I couldn't simply answer 'Mugen~,' feared it would create suspicions of why Mugen wasn't tagging along with us. As a result, THIS happened:
There you have it. Ahahaha. Azierra and Jelly actually bought it. In fact, after we surprised them, neither even had a clue!
I am every glad they really got surprised and happy. :)
I guess that's it from me for now. Happy 2013 again, and may this year, you all be blessed with good health and happiness too.

Me: Hmmm, I think you should lah. Ask papa to accompany you then.
Mugen: Pa---whaaat?
Me: Okay, bye mom.
